Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Zodiara mobile app (“the App”), operated by From Isekai LLC (“we,” “our,” “us”), a California limited liability company. By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 17 years old to use the App. By using Zodiara, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms in the jurisdiction where you reside.

2. The service

Zodiara provides AI-generated voice readings personalized with your astrological details, a journal feature, and persistent memory between sessions. The features available to you depend on whether you are on the Free tier or have an active paid subscription.

AI technology. The voice and conversational experience in Zodiara is powered by third-party artificial intelligence and large language model (LLM) technology. We reserve the right to update, replace, or change the underlying AI provider, model, or technology at any time as technology evolves — including migrating between AI providers or upgrading to newer model versions. Such changes may occur without prior notice and do not constitute a material modification of these Terms. Changes to the AI model or provider do not entitle you to a refund, subscription cancellation right, or service credit of any kind.

3. Accounts and anonymous use

You can use Zodiara without creating an account or signing in. On first launch the App creates an anonymous identity so your profile, memories, and balance can be saved. Anonymous identities are not tied to a name, email, or Apple ID, and inactive anonymous identities are automatically deleted after the periods described in our Privacy Policy.

Signing in with Apple is optional. It links your existing anonymous data to a durable account so it persists across devices and reinstalls. If you sign in, you are responsible for the activity that occurs under your account; notify us at hi@tryzodiara.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Subscriptions and purchases

Auto-renewing subscription disclosure (required by Apple)

Zodiara Premium is a monthly auto-renewing subscription priced at $11.99 USD (or local equivalent) per month. New subscribers may be eligible for a 3-day free trial that includes up to 30 minutes of live readings. After the free trial, the subscription renews at $11.99 USD per month and includes 75 minutes of live readings per month plus access to optional Stardust top-up packs. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at the end of the free trial period (or at confirmation if no trial is offered). The subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price unless we have notified you of a change. You can manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple ID Account Settings after purchase. No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during the active subscription period.

Free trial. New subscribers may receive a 3-day free trial with up to 30 minutes of live readings. Any unused trial minutes remaining at the moment your paid subscription begins are converted to permanent Stardust top-up credit that does not expire. If you cancel before the trial ends and do not convert to a paid subscription, any unused trial Stardust is forfeited and your account reverts to the Free tier.

Stardust top-up packs. If you have an active subscription, you may purchase one-time consumable packs that add minutes to your balance:

• 30 minutes — $4.99
• 75 minutes — $9.99
• 150 minutes — $17.99

Top-up minutes are permanent and do not expire while your account is active. Subscription minutes do not roll over from one month to the next; any unused subscription minutes are lost at the start of the next billing period. When you use the App, subscription minutes are spent before top-up minutes.

Account deletion forfeits all Stardust. If you delete your Zodiara account, any unspent subscription minutes and any unspent top-up credits are immediately and irreversibly forfeited. Forfeited Stardust cannot be restored, transferred to another account, or refunded by us. Deleting your Zodiara account does not automatically cancel an active Apple subscription — to stop future charges, cancel the subscription in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions before deleting your Zodiara account.

Prices may change. We will notify you in-app or by email before any price increase to your subscription, and you will have the opportunity to cancel before the new price applies.

5. Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple under the policies of the App Store. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com. We do not issue refunds directly.

6. Spiritual content disclaimer

Zodiara is provided for entertainment, self-reflection, and inspiration only. Readings are generated by an artificial intelligence system (Google Gemini) using astrological inputs. They:

• are not medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, financial, or professional advice;
• are not reviewed by a licensed practitioner before you hear them;
• should not be used to make health, legal, or major life decisions.

If you are experiencing a medical or mental-health emergency, contact a qualified professional or your local emergency number. In the U.S., the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline is available 24/7.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the App in violation of any law or regulation;
• attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code, model weights, or system prompts from the App;
• use automated means to access the App or generate content;
• resell, redistribute, or otherwise commercialize content generated by the App;
• impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with us;
• upload or attempt to elicit content that is illegal, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, or that promotes self-harm or violence.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

8. Intellectual property

The App, its visual design, the Zodiara character, source code, and original content are owned by From Isekai LLC and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You retain ownership of the content you provide (journal entries, profile details). By using the App, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, and process that content for the purpose of operating the App. We will not use it to train AI models, sell it, or share it for advertising.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Danger zone → Delete Account. Any unspent Stardust (subscription minutes and top-up credits) is forfeited on deletion and cannot be restored, transferred, or refunded — see Section 4. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if continuing to provide service to you would expose us to legal risk. On termination, sections that by their nature should survive (Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Arbitration, Governing Law) will remain in effect.

10. Disclaimers

The App is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted operation. We do not warrant that readings will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, From Isekai LLC and its officers, employees, and contractors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the App. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100.00).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless From Isekai LLC from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the App, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

13. Arbitration and class action waiver

Please read this section carefully — it affects your legal rights.

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App, except as noted below, will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by JAMS under its Streamlined Arbitration Rules. Arbitration will take place in Los Angeles, California, or by videoconference at the arbitrator’s discretion. The arbitrator’s decision will be final and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.

Class action waiver. You and From Isekai LLC agree that disputes will be brought only in an individual capacity. Neither party may serve as a plaintiff or class member in any class, consolidated, or representative action.

Exceptions. Either party may bring an individual action in small-claims court for disputes within that court’s jurisdiction. Either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in court to protect intellectual-property rights.

Opt-out. You may opt out of this arbitration provision by emailing hi@tryzodiara.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms, with the subject line “Arbitration Opt-Out” and your account email in the body. Opting out does not affect any other section of these Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Subject to the arbitration provision above, any action that is not subject to arbitration must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

15. Apple-specific terms

You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and From Isekai LLC, not with Apple, and that Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the App; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and notify you in-app or by email before the changes take effect. Continued use of the App after that date means you accept the updated Terms.
